Someone will most certainly sign this guy to start. But if they don't, what an insurance policy he would be.
Andre Gurode not playing tonight, Cowboys' future in doubt
Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports the Cowboys will sit a healthy center Andre Gurode tonight. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones called it a business decision.
The two options include a reduced contract or a trade. Gurode, who made the trip to Minneapolis, is scheduled to make a $5.5 million base salary and count $7.2 million against the salary cap.
“We need to talk business – cap business, salary business,” Jones said.
Third-team center Kevin Kowalski will start against the Vikings.
