Spags not "prepared" -- whatever that means. (Is Tanny giving quizzes again?)
Cowher out. Shanny out. Shotty Sr. not being considered. (So as not to spook Shotty Jr?) Parcells reported to be staying in Miami. That would seem to eliminate almost all the good candidates. (Ryan will, I'm sure, prove too ill-mannered for the gentlemen who run this franchise.)
Woody can't be bothered. I mean, he had vacation plans. Tanny, who seems to know nobody, seems to need to interview everybody: "And will you promise to play loud music at practice, disguise all injuries, let no one speak to the press and love and cherish dear Brett?" At least we have a "process." Or is the process a plan to make sure Young Tanny and Old, Rich-Boy Woody are not threatened?
Shotty Jr. now the favorite? Jags, presumably Brett's boy, seems to know something -- or why is he risking his job? So we're high on the two most untested, unaccomplished candidates.
Hard to imagine this could, so far, be going worse.
