I'm usually a fire the coach guy but...

I wouldn't fire Eric Mangini. I think this is the first good coaching search this organization ran in ten years. Hiring a coordinator who was young and successful. I'm just not ready to dump him and try to hire someone else.

I think Michigan did well to hire Rich Rodriguez, who went to 2 BCS Bowls at West Virginia. UM went 3-9 last year. I believe in Rodriguez, and I'm willing to fail with him, because I don't know how you can hire anyone with a better resume. The logical indicators are that he will be successful.

I'm tired of the instability, hiring coach after coach. Herm had to go, and Larry was always right that he never should have been hired due to his background. But I think we ran the search right this time.

Basically, I'm willing to fail with Eric Mangini.
