a simple fan question: Who is your fave Viking ever?

I'm going way back to 70's ... Alan Page. I'm sure a lot of you guys have heard of him but didn't get to experience watching him in his days when he dominated as a DT in the Vikings' famous Purple People Eaters front four. MVP of the NFL in 1971 and two time defensive player of the year during his career. Have you ever heard of a DT ever being voted MVP? It's just a tribute to how good he actually was.

In more recent times I, like IISweet, was a big fan of Robert Smith and Brett Favre. Smith was just so explosive and fluid as a runner on the 1998 15-1 team. I also gained a ton of respect for Brett Favre for taking the Vikings on that title run in 2009. He made watching Viking football truly exciting that year.
