Yeah, definitely. Getting Peterson back will be huge. The higher severity of Peterson's injury is also partly why I think Gerhart will show more value this year. I'd hope that running AP into the ground during a pointless game and blowing out his knee in the process was a wake up call to our coaching staff and they take it easy on the guy this year. By the looks of the end of last year, we may be walking into the season with one of the best backup running backs in the league (small window of this last season but, he looked great when he played). He has a phenomenal 3rd down back skill set and I think we'd be foolish not to make use of it. Give Pete a rest and don't overwork his knee when we have another very capable option.
