    How to beat the Panthers

Pay attention Kubiak, Manning to the lone loss suffered by the Panthers this season. There's a blueprint no other team the Panthers faced, a blueprint to beating the 16-1 Panthers.

#1,...don't turn the ball over. The Panthers have thrived scoring points off TOs. The Falcons lost 1 fumble, Ryan threw zero INTs.

#2,...pressure Newton constantly. Yeah ya gotta watch the Panthers run game but in the Falcons win The Panthers had 155 yards rushing, so make sure Newton doesn't beat you with the pass. Newton had just 113 yards net passing due to constant pressure from Atlanta and the two sacks were gravy after all the QB hurries. The Broncos defense must make the game "not fun" for the man-boy QB.

#3,...keep running the ball even when it doesn't work. The Falcons had only 77 yards rushing with multiple loss of yardage on many plays but they stuck with it and in the second half even a 5 yard run was positive as the Falcons led time of possession over 11 minutes.

#4,...play as dirty and with attitude as much as you can. The Falcons entered that game hurt and stung by a 38-0 Panthers butt whippin two weeks before that game. Pissed off, the Falcons MATCHED the Panthers intensity and vigor and actually surpassed Carolina in that respect, with class I'll add.

That's it! That's how the Falcons held the Panthers to just 13 points and Dolphin fans should thank the Falcons.hahaha

Only one team has beaten the Panthers this season, and it won’t be easy for the Broncos to follow that blueprint in Super Bowl 50 next week.

The Falcons had plenty of things going for them in their 20-13 victory over Carolina in Week 16 that Denver will not have when the Broncos square off with the Panthers in Santa Clara, Calif.

Not only was that game a divisional matchup between NFC South rivals, but Atlanta also had a noisy Georgia Dome crowd on its side and vengeance on its mind after being thoroughly embarrassed by the Panthers in a 38-0 rout in Charlotte, N.C., just two weeks prior to the rematch. There is no such bad blood between Denver and Carolina.

Crucial to counteracting Newton and the Panthers’ potent offense is controlling the ball, and the Falcons certainly did that in Week 16. They stuck with the run game, and even though Atlanta rushed for just 77 yards, 30 carries helped the Falcons dominate time of possession (35:38 to just 24:22) and keep Newton off the field.

The Panthers led the league in takeaways but didn’t have much luck in that department against Atlanta that day, forcing just a Ryan fumble. As a result, the Falcons were able to mount clock-killing drives of 10, 11 and 16 plays.

Just as important was the job the Falcons’ usually middling defense did against Newton that day. Atlanta limited Newton to just 113 passing yards — his second-lowest output of the season — and sacked him twice.

Good catch Pen! Well, thanks again for being a part of the Panther's loss, on behalf of Nick, Mercury and all the No-names who get together to pop the champagne again after all is done of another season passing without a NFL team to win all games through it and the post-season. It's partly a game of chance, though. Odds of flipping a coin heads up through 19 or 20 tosses is pretty slim. You probably get a better chance winning the lottery.

It's nice to know Mercury Morris is sipping champagne rather than snorting lines,...not saying anything, I went to college too if you gather.

Bart Bulluck did mention something I did not. But isn't it nice when you plagiarize someone's post and you can think of stuff to add to it?

Matt Ryan in that Panthers loss passed for almost 300 yards. The Broncos don't have a Julio Jones but their receiving corps is deeper than the Falcons. The forehead, as Jets fans call the guy, must pass for yardage and there must be some semblance of a run game,...STICK TO THE RUN! It's just one game now, there ain't no more that count for 7 months boys.

To be fair,...Newton is a product of the edumacation system. He couldn't be pampered enough until his college days. And it continues.

The Panthers will run the ball and successfully. Their O-line is best at run blocking but not so great at pass protection. superman will get his yards rushing but as said before Super Bowl 50 all ya gotta do is fluster the Panthers QB.

That post was tellin' Kubiak how to beat the Panthers and apparently he heard. It applies as of October 1st 2016. The Panthers aren't a difficult team to scout. They have so many great athletes, so what happens is when ya meet the Panthers,...you know it's gonna be rough and physical and sometimes sneaky. Oh yeah that sneaky draw-lead-something-option and the QB draw too! There'll be at least one, most likely two, reverses. See,...we've had a QB like the Panthers QB before. 55% completion ratio, great running game, ya da da da.

FLUSTERED,...an agitated or confused state that's the key wish this defense would be some sort of inspiration,...
