    Change in operation

Rather than read some idiot from Texas or New Jersey and their bull****, here's something saliable and salient.

The old days when other franchises shunned the Falcons are over. I'll give Dan Reeves some credit for beginning the change with the trade for Vick in 2001, you remember, the dog killer. Then there was a lapse when ownership changed hands and NFL teams avoided the Falcons like a plague,...until 2008.

Now other NFL franchises are amiable, even friendly with top brass in the Falcons camp. And that's what happened last night with the trade to move up so the CB Trufant could be drafted. People have no idea how desperate the Falcons were to draft a CB and they lucked out getting the perfect fit at CB in Mike Nolan's defense.

People around the NFL World never give Arthur Blank credit for anything, fine. But he's changed the Falcons culture and how they are perceived around the league as a top flight franchise.

Kind of makes ya sad for Packers, Eagles and Patriots fans. Cause they can't see what's coming they way. The Falcons. And also the entire NFC South still the finest and most dangerous division in the NFC.

As said, it was lucky all those teams drafted tackles, safeties and DEs. It was a great move to trade up cause Trufant would've been gone before the 30th pick.

It wasn't difficult to see what position was in need and that's why that writer in the other thread is an idiot.

And if you really wanna know,...team needs and the best available athlete could be seen as pretty much the same thing. The NFL is finite and winning games is all that ****ing matters.
