The top-seeded Philadelphia Eagles are listed as an underdog for Saturday's playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons. The Vegas odds haven’t shifted, and even the attitude of the most optimistic fan is tempered with, “but we still have Nick Foles under center.”

Since Carson Wentz’s season-ending knee injury in Los Angeles in Week 13, it’s true that expectations for the Eagles have dwindled. But even if odd-makers and naysayers have dominated the headlines this week, one normally cantankerous fella is starting to come around.

Old Man Winter, it appears, is starting to pull for the Eagles.

The AccuWeather forecast according to Philadelphia’s Channel 6 for Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field, once a balmy and unseasonable 50-something degrees, is now calling for 25 degrees at kickoff dropping to around 15 degrees by the time they Eagles and Falcons begin the fourth quarter.

This against a dome team from Atlanta that has yet to play in game-time temperatures below 40 degrees? Advantage, Eagles?

Oh Well !
