Darnold's not looking so great tonight...xc

Cool Hand Luke has outplayed him at the half, oh and another INT.
Ain't nobody better mess with the fine feathered figaro!

Teams may start to see some warts and back off. If the INTs continue to pile up, Rosen might over take him at number 1.

Falk clearly outplayed Darnold... Very uninspiring performance by Darnold. Draftniks
gotta be scratching their heads right now. Darnold is definetely on a slump.

i knew darnold was big and strong but did not know he could move as well as he did last night on a few plays. only watched 1st half and tho he struggled you can clearly see his ability, as far as luke goes can throw a nice pass... seems very accurate but extremely stationary.... also looks to hold onto the ball at times instead of throwing it away . something maybe that can be corrected but at times he had that deer in the headlights look......

Both Rosen and darnold escape pressure well while focusing down field... that is a prime multi-tasking trait.

He's a true sophmore. Id be surprised if he comes out.

yes it is almost to the point in the NFL you have to have it in your arsenal as a qb. but id like luke, arm is stronger then i was hearing. he is supposed to be very smart looks big enough and looks like room to put more weight on. can he survive as a stationary qb? the 1 play early he rolled out and threw back of the endzone was a tremendous throw right on the money. was it more luck or something he can duplicate.....

I'd be surprised if he doesn't. Look at all the QBs that have been drafted #2 overall in the last bunch of drafts. Look at Sanchez at #5 overall with ONE season starting. if the draft were today Darnoldt and Rosen are 1-2 in whatever order.

Yes, he's in a 2 game funk but he's now up to what, his 13th start, something like that? It's certainly possible that he will stay right where he's been for the last 2 weeks, just stagnate there and become a 3-6 type pick instead of a lock consensus 1-2. But that is a STRETCH. First off, he'll flash again. 13 starts!!! What, all of a sudden he took a step backward after 12 starts and he's never gonna rebound and go forward again?? Kind of absurd to think that. Even if he stays right here, he's a top 8 pick. And he won't. He'll flash more. 13 starts!! he's a lock 1-2 and how does he come back and risk that? Not in this era. These kids come out.

He is out there having some moments of sloppiness, but he's 13 starts into his career and he is all the while displaying 100% of the skill set, the PROTOTYPICAL skill sets that have scouts absolutely drooling. He's still, despite the funk he's still completing 64% and a number of his INTs are not bad ones.

He'll flash more and even if he doesn't flash quite enough, think of all the sleeper "measurable" guys that fly up the hype charts entering combine season. When Darnoldt works out for the scouts, the ones that were luke warm from game tape start drooling themselves.

He'll be a top 2 pick. Lock it in. He'll come out BECAUSE he's a top 2 pick.

    Bortles 1
    Mariotta 2
    Wentz 2
    Trubisky 2

You're telling me with longer shot, reaches like these in the top 2, Darnoldt is going to slip out of the top 2? He'll have to not just slump, he'll have to full scale choke and play terribly. His prototype skills will carry him if nothing else and I promise you there will be plenty more FLASHING from this stud anyway. he does all the things you want and he's still a baby. But babies COME OUT when they are top of the draft. Plus he son't be a baby anyway by the time this season is in the books.
