Thread: Timmons

    Timmons

A former Stiller LB who had over a hundred tackles last season, a 10 yr. vet and Pro-Bowl selection, has been landed by the Fins. Good move, as Fins lost Jenkins to FA.

At this point in his career Timmons is little more than an adequate player. A lot depends on how he transitions to the Dolphins system. It looks like you have a pretty solid team overall Gundy. If Howard can take the next step and you can upgrade Branch the defense will be solid. Bushrod needs to be replaced at Guard. Not a fan of Thomas at TE. Your Deficiencies can all be addressed in this years draft.

Lawrence Olajuwon Timmons,...drafted by the Steelers in the 1st round 2007 NFL Draft. He's a Southern boy from South Carolina and played for the FSU Noles and started as a FRESHMAN! In fact he's been so reliable it's ridiculous how durable he's been through the years. Well,...maybe not this day,...

Timmons' Mama is a huge NBA fan, gave Lawrence the middle name after NBA legend and Basketball Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon. He has 12 INTS career and 35 sacks,...not bad. He's been in coverage before covering WRs,...

Absolutely great signing. As ya'll know the Falcons signed the great Dwight Freeney. He had 3.5 sacks I think but his effect on the kids was just,...well let's just say if it weren't for the vets on the team no way the Falcons reach a SB. Timmons brings a "winning attitude" too. He's about 240 but he can run. But he can also *teach*

They've re-signed Bush-Rod. The Fins have done worse than him but as you say Pack, stay tuned for the draft.

Vance Joseph was a star coach. He had them doing great things. One of two situations will appear: either they'll replicate success with their coterie of Assistant coaches and team leaders, or they will fizzle down to a mediocre version of what they were before.

Well Resigning Bushrod isn't necessarily a referendum on his ability. I would expect to see a Guard in the 3rd or 4th rd. I couldn't understand why you cut Turner last year. You were playing a guard at left tackle. All anyone would have to do is look at his combine numbers to know that he didn't have the athleticism to play that position. It didn't take Joseph long to snatch him up either and they have him listed at guard.
