Lane Johnson's 10-game suspension upheld

Coming off of their first loss of the season, the Eagles have now also lost their starting right tackle for the next 10 games, Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ Advance Media reports.

After just over a month of speculation and waiting, Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson was suspended 10 games for a failed PED test this past summer, according to MMQB's Albert Breer.

The Eagles have not yet announced the suspension.

Johnson won't be able to play until the team's Week 15 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Johnson originally tested positive for a PED this past summer, but was awaiting the return of both his B sample and a decision on his appeal.

While waiting, Johnson has been able to suit up and play in the Eagles' first four games, and has been playing some of the best football of his career.

The team is a surprising 3-1, due in large part to the protection the offensive line has been able to give rookie quarterback Carson Wentz.
