    Parker & Landry's Squawks Surprise

We've seen M/W and B/M come and go, enough of these F.A. types. Fins have two stellar receivers drafted in the first and second rounds of 2015 and 2014 respectively, who are revving to breakout with new offensive schemes. Note that the Squawks typically get up slowly: dropping 4 of the first 6 games last year & 3 of the first 6 the year before. In the Pete Carroll era they've lost the first game half of the time. This is a drag for a team that has won from 10 to 13 games for the past four seasons and has had a .718 overall winning pct.

The Fins also have exceptional runners for a change, with Jay Ajayi and Arian Foster on tap. This is the best skill set the Fins have had starting in quite a while, wait-n-see.

This was a defensive duel if there ever were one. Fins had a FGA blocked or we would be talking 13-12, not Seahawks 12-10. Both QB's put together late drives in the 4th Q so who cares if one had to play on two gimpy ankles (not R/T.) There was some dissention from an injured Jay Ajayi that Foster should start at RB, two of our best defensive players saw limited roles. S/S outplayed Fins statistically but suffered a lousy game from their QB. Like an ugly win for them I guess.
