    Boykin no,...Freeney yes

Boykin worked out for the Falcons earlier this week. A *source* indicated that Boykin is healthy and that the Falcons choosing not to sign him was a football decision, not one based on any outside factors. yeah boy,...kin. Somethin' just ain't right with the boy.

whew,...the Falcons at least were,...polite in having the short dude workout. Ya'll already know my sentiments about Boy. He's a thug, a short dirty player and hasn't had,...ya know what?,...he's similar to former Falcon DeAngelo Hall. So this is over thank the lawd. Guess what?,...it ain't over. July 1st comes very soon. Now the Falcons will have an "interview" with,...

Dwight Freeney,...hmmmm. Now there's a signing which sounds good. Get a guy who knows the trenches, could edumacate the younger guys like Hageman, Garrett and Beasley in the finer art of rushing the passer. Falcons fans, well most of them, are extremely open to signing Freeney and hey, why not? Dan Quinn rotates D-linemen on virtually every play. Freeney will visit the Falcons soon.

Knowing Brian Cox and his apparent large influence on the Falcons defense, thanks to Arthur Blank, I predict there's a 97% chance the Falcons will sign the washed up old defensive lineman. It looks like to me this was in the works for some time.

    You be wrong again,...

Reported Falcons will not sign Free,...for now they report, ya know those experts at espn? Given the monsters espn hires? Howard Bryant? Literal monsters.

Where else would he be Free to sign, and how much time is left to do so? Could a better deal be had, maybe later? Colts, Cowboys, Bears, and Patriots could use him. He'd be able to upgrade the whole front as a field captain.

The one coach I mentioned,...Brian COCKS from an inside source is the reason Freeney wasn't signed. This is here say, there say,...seems Cox has a,...ummm,...inferiority complex. And he's somewhat desirous to be the man regarding the Falcons defense. Makes sense,...having a 36 year old, proven vet would threaten Cox's authority over a terribly young linebackers and D-linemen's corps.

Brian Cox is a cancer,...he's always been rude, always been ABOUT ME type of guy. He makes me sick but?,...Arthur Blank has made the guy a fixture so I have to eat it until he leaves Atlanta,...if ever.

    for instance from last season,...

Hageman is a huge boy, a big time huge man. But he's way young and he could be one of the NFL's finest.

I thought about the same thing, if Cox is the decision maker on this then Free can be viewed as a control threat. Dwight might even argue with some of his defensive schemes, D/F being more of a pass-rush specialist and B/C more of a run-stopper. ATLANTA did need help with its pass rush, and that being denied, should provide fodder for blame over the course of this season.

It'll do for last season too. Atlanta got 19 sacks all season vs. 34 gotten on Matt by their opponents. With all the rancor over the O-Line, the front was comparatively worse. Hell, I wish R/T had to deal with only 34 sacks!

For the record, Fins' opponents registered 45 sacks vs. our D that got 31 sacks. The most-sacked QB was whomever played for the Lions after Quick-Draw Joey left... he'd have this tendency to toss an Inc. rather than take a sack -- and the QB probably was John Kitna, having 63 Sacks in 2006, and if not mistaken Lion's opponents had registered up to 72 sacks in some season thereafter.

Falcons defensive line coach Bryan Cox shoved a Cardinals scout regarding access to incoming rookies during the interview process.

The Falcons were interviewing a player, Atlanta’s time was up, and the Cardinals scout was waiting to escort the player to the Arizona interview room. Cox confronted the Cardinals scout with some loud curse words. Cox then shoved the Cardinals employee. It did not escalate beyond that.

The Cardinals had no comment on the matter. The Falcons issued the following statement to PFT, from Cox.

“I intend to apologize to the young man for the incident that happened last night during the interview process,” Cox said. “It shouldn’t have happened.”

I can't stand this,...person. He's been celebrated by the NFLN in some stuff,...how his wife makes him take a shower after every cigar he smokes? But some of us older NFL fans remember him as a Dolphin. Well,...the guy sickened me with his pulling off of the helmet and he saying curse words at paying NFL fans. He's thin skinned little OLD baby boy. And as said, we'll see how he does with a defense the ole boy has no idea how it works,...EXCEPT!,...disruption. So we'll see how his counsel does this year,...he's a literal fixture for now.

I'm learning Dan Quinn's talents are with LBs and the secondary. Cox is LBs coach but works with D-linemen too. Interesting,...given Cox's inflated, over the top ego will he lose his stuff on the sideline again? Well damn,...appears there's something called a pattern.
