The Vikings announced today that they have officially released Mike Wallace. Per Ian Rapoport, Wallace and his agent Bus Cook would not agree to a "small pay cut". Wallace's release frees up 11.5 million in cap space.

No clarification on what "small" meant but obviously Wallace and Cook felt that he could sign elsewhere for more money. It'll be interesting to see what Wallace signs for with another team. The free agent pool isn't great for WR's but he's 30 or will be soon and he's mostly known for his speed which isn't going to get any better.
