In '09 Matt Moore was anointed the starter until the end of the season for the Cats. During the season threw for 62% and went 85-138-8-2 for 1053 yards, with 63 yds and a pick of that as mop-up duty in week 1. The team was 4-1 with him as a starter. Delhomme started 11 games and went 4-7, while throwing for 2015 yards, 8 TD's and 18 INT's.
Moore had 2 big injuries last year. Never rebounded from either. Concussion Week 1 had to leave the game, he played week 2 and was so god awful the team benched him for a month. They gave him the job back in October and he injured his shoulder and went on IR.
