Future With Dolphins Depends On Judge’s Ruling

Wednesday’s preliminary ruling on Tom Brady v. NFL will go a long way to determining the 'Future of the Fins' roster. The league will likely operate under the same rules as 2010 next year if Judge Nelson grants players an injunction blocking the owner-imposed lockout. As such, Tyler Thigpen is likely to be back on the roster next year because the Fins placed 2d-round tender on him. It is unlikely another franchise will be willing to match that!
On the other hand, he may have little choice other than to stay in Miami even if he won’t have a realistic shot at starting (Thiggy wants to go where he can start, he says...)
Now, alternately if the lockout stands and the four-and-five-year players become unrestricted... once a new CBA is reached, Thigpen’s chances of remaining on the Dolphins roster are really thin.
