Speculation is that Watson will be among those who leave the Pats this off season. Wouldn't he look outstanding in a Jets uni?

We already have one of him.Why would we possibly need two?

We don't have a Ben Watson. Keller is an HBack. So we could get both of them on the field together. ;)

Better blocker and route runner than Keller.

Not difficult to be a better blocker (inline) than Keller. I'd prefer a taller TE on draft day. We probably won't have a shot anyways with the uncapped year. Not that I'd lose sleep over that.

True, I'd like a 6'5 or 6'6 guy too, ideally. Even a big WR. I drool every time I see one of those on antoher team and wonder why the Jets can't have one.

There's only a handful of good starting WR's over 6'3''. San Diego has a lot of big guys yes but there's really not many real good WR"s that are a legit 6'4''+. R Moss, V Jackson, Cal Johnson, B Marshall, and that's about it. That's 4 guys outta 32 teams and about 150 total WR's.

GB, MN and Jax seem to have a few - and I'm talking the leaner TEs too like MLewis.

Well, if you are talking TE's too sure. But Jax doesnt have a solid WR on the whole team (Yes Marcedes Lewis is a good player at TE), none of Minny's WR's are especially tall, and neither are Green Bay's. So I think its more of the green being grassier on the other side. That being said, I do think the Jets need another TE with size for Sanchez to find over the middle in tough spots.

If he can give you the same threat that Watson does in the passing game, absolutely. But who is that guy? I think they'd have to draft him.
