After seeing him interviewed on Spostscenter, and knowing that he has been rebuffed by the league already on wearing Henry's jersey on Sunday; he'll find a way on Sunday fine or no fine.

And I'll be 100% in his corner & against the league on this one.

Why, because Henry jumped into the back of an open truck and was standing up in some crazy way on a highway, during a brawl with his common law wife and mother of his children and was thrown down on his head and killed.
Horribly sad and an unnecessary loss of a young man's life but he didn't die running into a burning building to save a group of nursery school children.
He died showing the same kind of poor judgment he used earlier in his checkered life.
Too bad, I feel bad but come on, I think the league is 100% correct.
the lesson here is not to live like this guy did, not to make him a great hero.

The NFL could mourn his passing, and allow a teammate to pay his resoects, without making him a hero.

if i walked a mile in his shoes id have a lenghty criminal record too..Its unfortunate but he helped it along all by himself--your responsible for your actions unless your a democrat, then blame everyone else.

The NFL wouldnt let Peyton Manning wear black cleats to honor Johnny Unitas after his passing a few years ago. The league is ridiculous when it comes to these kind of things, they wouldnt let Mike Nolan wear a suit on the sidelines!

I agree with that, but if "85" breaks NFL policy to pay tribute to a guy he knew and had a relationship with, than I salute him. (As long as it's done in an appropriate and tasteful way of course .. lol)

Well said. How about just having them make a donation to a charity of their choice instead of these silly fines? The money supposedly goes there anyway, correct?

But even if they don't I would suppose it's a matter of collecting the fine. By simply deducting the fine from a game check the league has the money, no wondering if the guy actually paid it or not.
