This is like the Brett Favre thing last year all over again!
I will call it Brett Favre Lite.
Ok, I get that he has not been playing bad, but C'mon, give me a break! the guy played one series and threw 4 passes, that is all! it is a QB competition, Clemens started last game so of course Sanchez should get his shot this week, that is the way it works, the media makes a big deal over this.
I have my hopes that Sanchez wins the job, nothing against Clemens, but Sanchez is the future of the franchise and I want to start looking to the future now, the sooner he gets in, the sooner he develops, but I want him to be ready to stasrt and not just thrown in and get him killed, if he is truely not ready then go with Clemens until he is ready, but in what little I saw, he looks like he knows what he is doing out there,he may make some rookie mistakes but that is expected and part of the learning process and hopefully not enough to hurt us in a game where we can't overcome it.
I just got a kick out of the nyjetsblog taking all the news articles and listing them all on their site as The Everything MarK Sanchez Thread! that is good.
