Alright folks, this is it - the second official public NFLFans Mock Draft has been scheduled. The draft will be held on site in the Mock Draft section of the chat room at 10:00AM PSTon Sat March 7. The rules and regulations for the event have changed. The changes have been highlighted in the rules and regulations below:

4 Rounds - No trades
1 Minute per pick, timed from when you are put "On the Clock" by the Commish (me)
If you fail to pick in the minute after being put OTC, the next team will be OTC and eligible to jump you. This can continue for multiple picks until you get yours in - and it has happened before, I won't hesitate to do it.
If no GM's for a team are present the Absentee GM Coordinator will make the pick from a list provided by you.
The official draft order will be posted next week. GM Roll Call will be at 9:55 AM PST - then the draft begins, if you're not there we're not waiting
IMPORTANT - To get on the GM list, you MUST e-mail me at willydow@comcast.net with the e-mail header "First Public Mock" - no e-mail, no GM spot. Replying to this thread is not an email! Email must include the Following:
o Team you are requesting
o Your Username on this site.
o A draft board for your team for us to use in your absence. You must have a minimum of 5 picks for each pick your team has. If your team has multiple picks in a round, that means 2 picks 10 names, 3 picks 15 names etc. Word or EXCEL files only please!
o You must also include on your draft board a position priority for each pick in case all of your players are gone.
o Should you decide to change your absentee GM draft board prior to the draft, or after any day of drafting, you may email it to the administrator who will forward it to the absentee GM coordinator. Be sure to use the header First Public Mock Team Name Board #X. That way we can be sure we have the latest iteration. DO NOT USE THE PM SYSTEM FOR THIS. I DONT WANT TO HAVE TO KEEP GOING TO THE PM SYSTEM TO FIND OUT IF I HAVE PMs.
o You must be a member in good standing on this site to participate. In many cases, more than 1 GM will be assigned. We ask that you use the PM system to communicate with your co-GMs and meet in the chat rooms to set up your team board well in advance. GMs who refuse to work with others will not be tolerated.
In an effort to make this Draft a positive experience for everyone, no commentary will be allowed in the Chat Room. Only the commissioner and the GM Spokesperson for the team on the clock will be allowed to talk. We suggest you have the shout box open in a separate window if you wish to make comments. Violators of this rule will be given one warning and then the Executioner will boot you from the chat room.
In the event that due to computer problems you get booted from the chat room while you are on the clock, we will have an administrator monitoring the shout box. You may make your pick there and it will be relayed to the chat room.
You may also volunteer to help administer the Draft. I need a helper to continually update the thread that lists the players as they are taken. We also need someone to monitor the Shout Box in case a team is forced to make their pick from there.

[There will be no preference given to anyone in the assignment of teams for this mock. EVERYONE MUST SIGN UP. ALL TEAMS ARE OPEN. THAT WAY I MAKE SURE WE GET A BOARD FROM EVERYONE. I will try to update the GM's list once a day - if you're name doesn't appear right away don't worry - I'll get you listed and fire an e-mail back when I update the list.
