The Chicago Bears have signed WR Brandon Lloyd, formerly of the Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers, to a 1-year deal.

Totally uninspiring signing. A malcontent WR who scored 0 TDs the last two seasons, IIRC. It's just another case of signing one of the coaches' former players simply because he likes him and is familiar with him. That worked out real well with Adam Archuleta. :tsk: I drank the Archuleta Kool-Aid last year, and I'm not getting burned again by feeling optimistic about Lloyd.
