I don't get anything like that, might be something with your computer.

I asked the same question a while ago.
If you never click on logoff that date will never change. Closing the site won't do it.

Oh, okay, thanks.
I let my password manager remember to log me in. I only need to re-log in after I clear my cookies or temp internet files, which I do every once in a while.

I've been getting a lot of "database" errors and so forth. And the page loads have been freakin' slower than molasses. I experience this on 3 separate computers and I've tried Netscape, IE7 and Firefox on each. And, yes, I've dumped the cache and cookies and get the same result.

And when it happens I have to close IE7 and reopen it to get back on.
Unknown: One last update, the server switch is complete. The database errors should no longer be an issue. Also, any lag should be less of an issue as well. BTW, as a sidenote not to necessarily single anyone out (well I kind of am, don't remember who the person was because I can't find the thread) but the higher ups who have kept the NFLfans network online for a pretty long time have feelings as well. I understand the frustration with the issues the board has had over the last couple of weeks, trust me I've been frustrated as well and so have the people in charge who have had to figure out how to resolve the issues but there are more respectful and constructive ways to go about voicing them rather than threads that start off "This board sucks" or "This board sucks again." I'm all for freedom of speech but at least be classy about it or direct complaints to the mods so that they can get in contact with the proper people to take care of them. After all, the goal is to keep this place running and as user-friendly as possible so that the football talk can continue. Thanks.

I'm your McEntyre! The board sucks because a lot of the old soul has been stripped away. We were accustomed to a different board where threads were open and we could jump into more than one thread at a time and see what others were responding, this format is more suited for high traffic which we don't have and it is very compartmentalized. So you don't suck for allowing us to stay here and for salvaging our JA, we thank you for the generosity and patience.
Here's is what I have a problem with, the JA has always had a personality of it's own, the guys here have been together for more than 5 years, we know each other well enough to take liberties with each other. The Step/IBG thread that was locked is a classic bull**** JA thread, it's the type of thread that permeates the JA this time of year when there is very little news. We get into a lot of peripheral stuff and yes it gets hot and heated at times. I know when I say this that I speak for the rest of us. I called you a commie for locking the thread, but now you understand that the spirit was in jest like most of what goes on at the JA which is not to be taken too seriously.
Now I ask you or whoever the moderators are to not kill the spirit that makes the JA unique. Let the banter continue here and let TBrady control us, your benevolence will be greatly appreciated and I think I speak for most of us, except for Smugsie and Ibeegeza but those two characters don't count.
