I'm going to start with a solid, veteran guard. They have to protect Bulger.
Second, one or two pass rushers. The only vet seems to be Jared Allen.
I doubt they'll be able to get him. Maybe that FA LB from AZ, Pace, can
serve as a SLB and a pass rusher.

Any way, they need to get one on the first day of the draft.
I'm not sold on Chris Long. Don't know if he has enough speed to get
to the QB.

A WR is another need. Someone with speed. Don't know who from FA would
fit here. Whoever he is, he needs to be able to run good routes too.

The Rams also need to get someone to fill in for Pace if he gets injured again.

And I can't forget the need for a good center.

I real safety, Correy Chavis sucks. And a real Mike back, Will is out of Position.

Either Ellis or C. Long-Ellis is a player for sure. Would work is either a 3-4 or 4-3 set. Has a good motor.

What I like about Long is this quote from draftxchange "Stout against the run and a sure tackler" just not sure about how much pressure he will be able to apply.

I don't understand this love feast for a DE! Don't get me wrong we drafted one last year. We needed one then!! This year Pace went down right out of the gate. Then the rest soon followed. The lack of offence is what killed the Rams this year. Unable to score or maintain ball control. So late in the Game the D was wore out. We need BIG YOUNG OL!! That alone will cure many of the D's woes!!:debate:

We will get those BIG, YOUNG o-linemen. Just not at #2. I think everybody understand the o-line was a BIG problem last year. At the same time how often does a team experience that many injuries to one set of positions in back to back years? Am I wishing? Maybe.

Pace should be healthy, there's no reason to believe Setterstrom won't be back either and a back-up tackle will be signed. They're interested in Faneca, weather they get him is another story. Cogs, who knows what up with him, when he's healthy he's a beast. Barron-o.k. he stinks. Its just that he doesn't stink enough-could be worse. The o-line needs guard upgrades and a center.

No-one at those positions in this draft is worthy of a #2 pick. A lot of boards have the Rams selecting more than one o-lineman later in the draft. Just not at #2. And having more than a few people projecting Jake Long as a guard in the NFL-or maybe even a work in progress-leaves me to believe he's not worth the #2 pick.

Look at the DE's the Rams have. Little is getting, sorry, he is old, Hall can be, might be good. Then you have Carricker (who plays as much DT as DE) and Adeyenju who might be, could be as good as Hall.

Lets face it. If the same thing happens again next year-injuries-they'll have the chance to draft a tackle at #2-3 or where ever they finish.

We should have got OL last year in the second round, but nooooooooo, we got
another hb fb, what ever you want to call him. Then not one but two TE's.
Bad drafting....Once again OL last year would have been smart!..

Oh I think Jake Long is worth #2...The thing is you don't know whether Pace will or will not be healthy...If hes not then I guess you could have Long play RT or even OG until you need him at LT but thats kinda a poor initial return on the #2 overall. I think the Rams should take whoever the staff likes most along the DLine and get an OT in Rd 2-3...

The last time Pace gave us a full good year? My point. We need youth and depth! So long at 2 . Yet another in the 2nd round!!WR in the 3rd!!
