There's a ton of rumors indicating that Kiffen is getting run out of Oakland by Al Davis. The Raiders have disavowed these. They have a propensity for lying about that sort of thing, though.

If this turns out to be true, I'm going to be super pissed off. They need continuity, stability and for the infighting to end. Agin, if these rumors are true Al is shooting himself in the foot. If Kiffen does end up gone there can be no mistaking, after so many coaches in so little time it is obvious that Davis, the owner and final decision maker, is no longer up to speed. His meedling and pushing buttons are creating the tension there.

Being as I love the Raiders, I want them to win. They cannot win while the coach gets second guessed and undermined at every turn. For the love of god, Al, just leave this **** alone. Sit back, watch the game with the time you have left and leave the coaching to the coach.

I heard John Clayton say that Al Saunders and James Lofton are coming in for interveiws this week and this could spell trouble for Lane Kiffin.

Personally this makes me sick! Kiffin has turned out to be a very popular and solid head coach. And then on top of all this Rob Ryan, a well respected coach in Oakland wants out, but Davis is holding him hostage by his contract. I can't understand an owner like Davis with a club thats in financial disaray not to mention losing season after losing season, would cause so much havoc to his own team. It's too bad Al Davis can't take a page out of George Steinbrenner's book and turn over control to someone he absolutly trusts and just sit there as a fan like we do.

On a side note, i follow european soccer, and i know that if a club makes bogus decisions one after another, the fans protest buying tickets and literally demand the owner/club presidents head on a platter until something is done. I think it's time for our Raider brothers in California to get off your asses and show your team pride, before the Oakland Raiders lose thier franchise all together to bankruptcy or most likely the Raiders move out of state. The time is now Raiders!
