New Punter? Practice squad guys on the Oline? Coles on IR?

Is Eric going all out? Or is he just evaluating talent at this point and wins are just nice to have?

I doubt he's actively trying to lose, but he seems to be very open to giving guys chances to step up who would regularly never see the field.

Is a Marques Murrell sighting in the cards on Sun? Perhaps a little bit of Brett Ratliff to David Ball late in the game? Manny Collins in the Dime package?

Uh, I think practice squad guys on the starting OL, suggest ambivalence at best.

Then I might have to place a little call to check on the line for the game...

I said ambivalence, not a guarantee.
There is the PRIDE factor for both Coaches.

True. Plus there is the whole Jets history of being just good enough to hurt themselves...

I'd be real careful with this game. It's totally a crapshoot.

Both defenses will shut eachother down, it will come down to specials/turnovers/coaching.... I say we have the advantage in 2 of those 3 categories.

Our specials and abilities to force turnovers ARE good 57, but don't sleep on Mangini, he may yet prove to be able to match up to the football genius that was stolen away from us for a measley 4th round pick.

Some of both Step.

Graham clearly has had an off year, so they now have a guy that they have seen under game conditions & have an idea of what he can contribute; and as you said earlier it's a shor across the bow of Graham.

As to Turner & Oldenburg, I think you can make a case that the 2 guys they replaced -- Clarks & Clement -- are not PS quality players; therefore playing them was an upgrade.
