Buffalo Bills

1. Cornerback - The Bills don't have a legit #1 corner. McGee and Greer are decent, but neither can bottle up a teams top wideout. (Both Jenkins and Cason)

2. Wide Receiver - Lee Evans is a solid home run threat who can stetch the field. Roscoe Parrish is a good slot receiver that makes people miss. Josh Reed isn't getting the job done. The Bills need a big, physical wideout who they can utilize in the red zone. (Kelly from Oklahoma)

3. Linebacker - Posluszny will be back to man the middle and will help in run support. Crowell is solid on the outside, but they are missing a third linebacker. (Keith River or Dan Connor)

4. Tight End - The best weapon for a young QB is a solid TE. Royal and Gaines are ok, but Edwards needs a better receiving TE. (Fred Davis or Martin Rucker)

5. Defensive End - The key to a good Cover 2 is an elite pass rusher. Schobel can be double teamed because of a lack of a presence from Denney and Kelsay. (Calais Campbell or Quentin Groves)

**The prospects I mentioned would be ideal 1st round picks.

I'm not so sure that Malcolm Kelly will declare. He's my favorite WR prospect this year but it wouldn't shock me to see him stay in school. Unless he has a dominant performance next month he'll likely stay put.

I'd add RT to this list too as I don't see Langston Walker as the answer for you guys.

I agree that Kelly might not come out too. With Bradford coming back, he should be able to put up monster numbers next year and have no questions about being the #1 or #2 wideout. Oklahoma should be in the hunt for a National Title which also would help his stock.

RT is also a need. I was forming it more around what they would go after in the 1st two rounds. I'm not big on taking a O-lineman early. I guess taking Mike Williams at 4 in '02 will do that. You're right about addressing the right tackle position.

I agree with these needs.

CB is of the utmost importance. Youboty and McGee are nice, but more is needed behind them or in front of them. Neither of them are ready to be "the guy," or are in a position to become that, though both played admirably this season. Mike Jenkins or Aqib Talib would be tempting in the first.

WR speaks for itself. Especially in the wake of Price's release. A big strong WR would be ideal; Malcolm Kelly will probably be the pick for the Bills in the first round.

LB is less of a need than some people may think, but it is a need. This could be addressed in FA, especially with the release of Roosevelt Colvin. The team could also look at one in the third or fourth rounds, more than likely an OLB to pair with Crowell and Poz, but moving Poz outside might not be a bad idea if a good MLB is available.

TE could be the sleeper second round pick. Production from this position would also alleviate the pressure from looking for Evans all the time.

DE is the least of the needs. Schobel is a Pro Bowler, and Kelsay is adequate. I'd like to be greedy, but I don't see this as something Jauron would move on unless there was an irresistible prospect.
