is Mr. T joining Tuna in Hotlanta? I'd be really angry, since I think that Tanny has done a much better job than Eric so far during this marriage. Other than the Kendall fiasco, Tanny has been awesome in drafting. Unless, of course, it's really Eric shopping for the groceries, but I don't get that feeling. Whatever happens, please don't re-elevate Bradway! He's a total incompetant.

Why would tannenbuam leave the biggest media market in the country and a team where he has full contro to go to a lost cuase like Atlanat and have to work under Tuna's shadow again?
Makes no sense to me....where did you hear this?

That's total garbage that only exists in the mind of that idiot a'hole Florio at PFT. There is no evidence anywhere to support his speculation about friction.

I could think of two reasons: more money, and having Tuna as his football advisor instead of Terry and Eric the Kid. Oh, and another reason, Falcons may be a mess right now, but we're cursed.

What's below is from Rotoworld. If he becomes a Fin then there's no reason why Tanny couldn't follow him there. I don't believe so as I said earlier because PFT is the only plave this alleged fristion has been reported.
Owner Arthur Blank said Wednesday that Bill Parcells has backed out of his deal with Atlanta to be the team's next executive vice president.
Parcells was in talks with Blank in Saratoga, New York on Wednesday, and issued this statement after the negotiations ended: "We had reached an agreement in principle with Parcells, and we met with him this morning to complete the contract. At that time, we were made aware by Parcells that he was considering a revised offer from the Miami Dolphins. He later informed us that he would not be signing a contract with us. Rich McKay remains President of the club and will retain general manager responsibilities until a new GM is hired." Dec. 19 - 3:21 pm et

Dammit, nobody needs to fix the Fish, they are just fine where they are.

What makes you think he'll be able to fix them?
For one thing the only "fixing" he has ever done was as a HC taking over a talented underachieving team.
And the Fins are not talented & have a lot of age on that D.

he left dallas in better shape than when he got there. but the hell with tuna. i'm worried about trouble in paradise. where did they get this from? i haven't seen one thing to support a rift, but what do i know? this could be a real setback, since we'd be installing a gm who isn't bringing in his choice of hc. that''s a lousy situation anytime.

I don't see any way Tannenbaum can get out of his Jets contract to go to Miami. He hold the title of GM here. The only way it happens is if Woody lets it happen which won't happen.

He wasnt the GM in Dallas...JOnes was. Tuna is a great HC...he is a below average GM.

It's not a question on whether he goes or not, it's that he WANTS to go. That's the problem, [IF] it's true.

I could understand Tanny wanting to go to TB when Tuna was gong there. he was stuck under Bradway and would be a GM in TB. BUt now he is a GM and has full authority in the biggest media market in the country, hes got his own TV show ebven...WHY would he want to go be GM under Parcells and be 2nd fiddle again and be down in MIami (a horendous football town) and be left holding the salary cap mess in 3 years when Tuna inevotably walks away again????
Tanny is going NO WHERE.
