Kellen Clemens (ribs/left shoulder) is not expected to play in Week 16.

According to Newsday's Tom Rock, Clemens "clearly" has injuries to both his shoulder and ribs, and struggled to do anything at Wednesday's practice. Coach Eric Mangini did say Clemens hasn't lost his spot on the depth chart.

Assuming it is just a cracked rib, then get him out on the field, I wanna know if he can tough it out or if we have 2 sissy QBs.

Right .. Chad's not revered for toughness and playing with pain or anything.  :hand2:

here (Jets Machine addicts etc for a long time you would think I might see that. I"m just in Chads camp and I'm still holding out that maybe he can be the man for the Jets

We all miss them on occasion.

I am not at all convinced that Chad will not be a Jet next year. A couple of cards have been dealt, but we still have the flop, the turn & the river to see.

On the inside, I'm as Chadderific as IBG, I soooooooooooo wanted to see him come in at NE, lead us to a huge win, foiling their perfection & making a lot of media & fans eat a lot of crow, a la his flexing his bicep in SD after the bomb to Hammytana when the arm strength talk was deafening...

That scenario would have made for some interesting writing, that's for sure. I was thinking it would also make a nice send off present to Jets fans if he does indeed wind up with a new team next year. Instead it was yet another reminder of the current state of the team we all live and die with. :ohwell:
