They pulled out a in in OT over the Ravens.

Maybe the Phins no name Defense should drink their champagne over this win since they most likely will not get to over the last unbeaten team getting a loss.

The Ravens certainly are not as tough as they were when they played up in week 2.

What happened to that Ravens team that almost upset the Pats? How far they've fallen.

I'm glad the Phins won today, next week they'll come out flat and also this season will be solely on the Patriots going undefeated instead of both the Pats and the Phins having "perfect" records.

They haven't fallen, they just exposed the Pats for what they are .. a pretty good team in an era watered down by parity that can lose at any time. I.E. nothing special.

IBG, you can't be serious. I agree with a watered down league...to an extent. But the Pats are better than pretty good, regardless of the era. I do believe that your biases are getting the best of you here. They may not be the best ever, but they are a damn good football team.

The Jets had their chances today, and their inability to execute in the clutch and some questionable, at best, coaching decisions kept them from beating a better team today. But, on a sunny day, the Pats would have demolished us. I'm happy the weather saved us the embarassment. I have no trouble saying the Pats are a really good team and that I despise them still.

The Pats nearly lost to AJ Feeley and Kyle Boller. Nuf sed.

They're good, but this "best ever" talk is utterly laughable. They can't even run the ball with any consistency and teams are beginning to win against Moss.

Do you really think it was just the weather that held the Pats in check? Was that the case with Feeley or in Baltimore? I live close by the stadium and they got the forecast wrong (surprise, surprise) The wind was not bad at all and it was about 50 degrees - BALMY! It also turned over to all rain at about 9 AM. And the Jets had to deal with the conditions too. I think the Jets' defense is better than a lot of folks are giving them credit for.

I know you've been admiring the Pats from afar and rooting for the prefect season and I do believe that is what is driving these comments here. So be it. I clearly see a team that has lost a lot of its luster and swagger. jmho

Still very good & technically sound, but not at all what the media & fans have been crafting...

that they can't end their losing streak against the Pats. That scenario had the potential to be even more satisfying for me than seeing the Jets beat them today. :mad2:

Fair enough...but believe me, I was relishing a chance to win today. I'm not rooting for a perfect season. I just think they are good. In those other games, they still scored a lot of points.
