After reading all the hype coming into today, I'm beginning to wish that God would become a football fan. It probably ranks pretty low on his priority list but you would have to figure that he would be on our side if he chose to intervene. If God be for us, who can be against us?

The devil and his hordes of demons and unlike God, he is a huge football fan and has a poster of Bellichick banging a minor in his lair:bsod:

There is no such thing as good and evil on a football field. There is however sportsmanship and justice. These are dying qualities in the NFL though. There used to be a time that players would handle business on the field when scumbags would go outside the realms of Sportmanship. The cheap shots by the Pats used to be followed up by a lineman setting you up and a TE cracking you at the knees. There used to be enforcers in the game. Guys who simply wouldn't let you get away with the BS we see on the field in todays game. Now it is ALL about stats, numbers, and highlights. These guys all view this as just a job on Sundays and they could really care less when it is all said and done. So as a result the ones who are going to go and do anything it takes to win, be it in the area of sportsmanship or totally outside those lines, or outright cheating and dirty play are going to be the winners. There are little to no reprecussions to stop that kind of behavior. Hell it's the best way to ensure success. The players sure aren't gonna do anything about it, hell they are not going to take out one of their own for cheating, he might be up for a new contract.

Baseball has it's huge black eye, Basketball threw the rules out the window years ago, and now the NFL has sold out in every possible way as well. The business of the NFL has killed the integrity of the game.

Not true as long as Bill Belichick roams the sidelines.

What a bitter SOB that man is. His enjoyment lasts about 17 seconds after a win. I truly pity him.

Is he truly evil or is he the most arrogant, petty, pathetic little douchebag in the game?

I can be sold on either way.

How about all of the above? He's a freaking jerk, is what he is.

Did you hear when his precious DBs got caught up with Cotch on the Baker catch for a 1st down where he was right next to the ref with the mike that kept catching things that were not supposed to be aired and he yelled "That's a PICK!!" about as loud and angry as I have ever heard any person yell before?

Just a troll of a human being.

I dont know the man personally and frankly I dont care. Pete Carroll seemed to be a terrific human being but you know what? At the end of the day all that matters is Is your team winning football games?

As if the Pasterisks don't employ picks in their games???

Again more of the same. It's ok when I do it, just not when you do it...
