Like most talking heads, pundits and fans, it's now assumed that the Jets don't have a snowball's chance in hell (unless it snows like hell, of course) of even competing with the Pats and the Dolphins are even a longer shot. So what they've done is reduce the odds of the Pats going undefeated down to where the Gints are in their quest for the post season as well as whether or not they will rest key starters.
What I'd really like to know is when exactly did the Gints become such a vastly superior team tot he Jets? Did not the Jets come a couple of bad Chad decisions and a some REALLY poor tackling efforts away from beating this team a ways back even before the defense began to turn it around?
When people are openly overlooking and completely disrespecting one's team, one would like to think that something will be done about it. ;)
