What would you guys think of him in the 3rd round?

Could he step in & start at either LG or RT?

If we were to take him could he develop & take over fro Moore before the season was over?

I hear good things from draft hacks, but who the hell knows. I ask anyone who has EVER watched a Newberry College game to confirm that is a real school and a real football team.

he would make a solid Lg imo...alot of reports say he has sort of let up this year to avoid injury...also keep in mind bender is some where in the mix for next season..also moore was given an extension so he prolly will still be at rg next eyar

Moore is acceptable if he is the only weak link. He needs to be next to a very good RT in order to get the most out of him. The guys only good qualities are strength and agility. If he only has one assignment he is a solid player. If he is asked to do too much he fails. Clement is not good enough to play next to him. And we need to get a real OG on the other side to pretend that we may run that way if needed.

I wouldn't mind picking up Otah from Pitt to help our Oline. He could be a guy that we put in on the right side at RT or RG and at 340+ he's exactly the type of mauler we have neded for years.

hey now. I went to school there many moons ago. Yes it's a real school that's located about 40 miles from the state capital. Benedict originally signed with Tennessee coming out of HS. He's from SC so instead of having to sit out a year when he transferred he came home to play. I hoping the Panthers might give him a look come draft time. Newberry is a small Div II school.
