View Full Version : Referree Bull**** vol. 2

Ok, first I will say that I don't think these calls affected the ultimate outcome of the game. The Pats won fair and square. But just like the Chicago game that we won, its no excuse just to let bull**** calls go unnoticed.
--We got ****ed out of a catch that should have been ruled a pushout on T.O.. I don't care if the end result was a TD, it was ridiculous and the refs should acknowledge that and change the rule with regard to challenging a pushout
--The "Terence Newman" pass interference call was not pass interference on Terence Newman OR Pat Watkins. Everyone has a right to the ball in those situations. If you're not watching closely enough to know which player you're calling a penalty on, then you are doing a poor job and need to be let go.
I am disgusted with referees all together. I am sick of refs being an extra offensive blocker when a receiver runs a cross route and I am sick of fat **** clumsy refs tripping up our defenders when they try to make a tackle (see Roy Williams tackled by ref last year). How far out are we from being able to completely eliminate referees and calling the game from a booth? Ten Years?
Someone might as well make this a sticky, because I have the feeling that we havn't seen the end of this travesty.

You left out the Randy Moss catch that had to be overturned lol....which part of ANY of that looked remotely like a catch? I've seen that push out rule ignored so many times that it might as well not exist. In the future Roy just needs to catch the recievers before they get the second foot down and carry them across the firld and chunk 'em out of bounds.....see if it's used then. Nahhh let's don't do that cause then we'll have the Roy Williams catch & spike a reciever rule next year to contend with, lol

Call the game the same for both sides. Don't hold on teams feet to the fire and give the other the bye. The refs refused to call the game even. This is becoming a habit vs Dallas, it has been what 3 weeks in a row now. Prossman

:tex:Uh, guys, it wasn't just a 'minor' aspect, if you go back to the tapes, the refs had a dramatic affect of fourteen points that would have been either added or removed, due to 'THEIR' use of penalties..and that in a game such as this one was, IS major...it wasn't just the play of New England...as Dallas had drives set aside, and New England had drives given score values....and that IS major...as was the TD on the play described above, where Bradie James was shielded by the ref in route to another additional TD....:clap2:
What is really funny, is that poor little Tony Romo is STILL second in TD's by a NFL QB...behind Brady!!!:tex:

I wasn't trying to say that it wasn't a major issue. I just don't want people to think that instead of being upset at the referees, I'm upset at the outcome of the game. I think there is a serious pattern of bad calls made in the games which we have played in.

Tex, I wasn't cheap shooting another member of OUR board....:morebeer:
As Wade Phillips stated, that he was NOT going to get fined after a loss, when asked about a comment on officiating of this past game....enough said here...I just want the entire team to carry the degree of INSULT to a very good team...both in the officiating and media of the country, and second, by the 'low' class of New England itself...pay back WILL be coming, and you can count on it....!:coffee2:

You start off with "Spygate" which the entire Media of sports went on a crusaide to justify how it really wasn't a big deal. Now They are getting the Micheal Jordan "No calls" . I watched the game again today, and saw more no calls. One the play in the first quarter when spencer got a knock down on brady and the OT literally had him around the waist with one arm, was blatant and not called. It would have been a sack. Not to mention others. It is getting rediculous. Prossman

Target on, Pross, and unwittingly, those same 'journalists' are killing the real credability and foundation of love of the sport....what a crime as well as a shame....:coffee2:and the refs just follow blindly along...

It sure seems to me that the officals agenda to make sure the boys lose has been a top priority. maybe this loss satisfies them. Let them call greenbay the front runners and let us fly under the radar for a couple of weeks. Hopefully the calls will settle down now that the cowboys have lost. Hopefully! Prossman

I can't believe what I just read. I can't believe they admitted it. Thank God Goddell threated "Severe" conesquences if things didn't improve! "brush up on the rulebook", "Hazy", " Yea we had a rough weekend last weekend" comments like these in that article have me furious! "So they know what a pass interference and holding penalty looks like"....let me stop! Prossman:tex:

Alas, there is always fine print these days...
This article is satire and is not intended as actual news.

The facts remain there is obvious bias and favoritism the they way the refs call games favoring one side or the other! Prossman
