The player representing the Superbirds on the banner will be punished by the Falcons this week. Can't believe the resident tabloid copy and paster hasn't jumped all over this. As long as it's not an article written by Terror Moore or an article about the dog killer, it can stand. Ah well, tried to inform the guy and he tried to call my hand.

Anyway,...Petrino said the punishment will be in the form of a fine or suspension.

Personally, I have no problem with how passionate Hall plays. People say he talks too much garbage and then turn around and say Peion Sanders was the greatest cover corner, who by the way was the most trash talking fool that ever played in the NFL.

Steve Smith was completely shut down by Hall and upon review,...Smith was just as guilty of what happened as Hall. Smith is an admitted angry man and he was just as guilty as Hall for everything that happened. Except one thing,...when Hall faced off with Petrino on the sideline and had to be restrained, that was the thing that he shouldn't have done. He needs to sit Sunday and lose a paycheck for that mistake.

Everyone forgets the one personal foul call in which Hall chucked Smith at the line of scrimmage. It was a perfectly legal act that DBs do when playing press cover. And by the way too,...the same ref threw all the flags on Hall,...one in which Hall wasn't even looking at the ref but was jawing at Smith.

So then Larry Numbnuts allows Harrington to get blasted by Kris Jenkens after David Carr was barely touched which drew a roughing the passer penalty? Talk about some serious bias there.

It's a good idea to punish Hall in-house because the NFL and Roger the dodger would be doing some serious punishment if not.

Smith obviously is the Dennis Rodman of football, hell, at least Owens and Moss are trying to have fun.

Only people I've ever witnessed that acted like he does has a steroid problem, not saying little Rodman does steroids, just saying he exibits that type behavoir.

I'll take half the player Hall is over a childish idiot like him ANYDAY!

I had the same damn thought today!!!

Owens likes to have fun,...Moss likes to wipe his butt on goalposts,...ummm, at least when Owens got mad at Hall he just spit in his face. He didn't make faces like ya see in Chinese dragon paintings. Smith was pissed because Hall SHUT HIM DOWN. Smith started all this, I guarantee it. I don't need evidence other than Smith's own admission he has anger issues.

If Hall didn't retaliate more after being spit on last year by Owens, moreso than he did last Sunday, he's a coward. And I don't think Hall is afraid of anything including the grim reaper.

We saw Smith's face,...he was irate because he wasn't the focus of the game because of that evil DeAngelo Hall and he was determined to start stuff. DeliHome couldn't get it to Smith and it was obvious and Smith's EGO started this whole thing after review boys and girls. The Panthers had to run a reverse just to get the ball in Smith's hands.

That's cool,...we're gonna sail through another lost season and wait for the rematch. It's like Karmal dude,...remember last season?:mob2:

Having been there your more perceptive than most, yes, little Rodman was SHUTDOWN, he was really pissed the 1 time he did beat Hall and Hall made a pro play by interfering and preventing the TD.

The only proof you need is Smiths numbers, since I've given up on the year when Saton's son was exposed, I'll not look at numbers, or listen to these pathetic excuses made by fans.

There is no provision anywhere in the rule book that states what you hear fans say, that's the breaks, that's just the way it goes, happens to everyone(bull****)! Everybody that has ever said anything that stupid just look at the same scenario, but in real life.

2 guys standing on a sidewalk, one of them throws trash on the ground in front of a cop, cop does nothing, you being the second person, standing there picked up a curious looking rock, when done with your examination of the rock, throw it on the sidewalk and be ticketed or arrested for littering!(bull****)

It was a poorly officiated game, everyone has an opinion, the ex player in the booth constantly remarked how bad these calls were against Atlanta, so some kid or working guy who never played the game says these things, it's revealing, and carries no weight!

When a Saints fan says he thought the Falcons got screwed by the refs,...what else is there to say?

I'm still mystified why the flag for a personal foul was thrown when Hall made a perfectly legal chuck on Smith. This is what's called being hypersensitive and refs don't need to be hypersensitive. This same fool zebra flagged Hall again for taunting,...not allowing the other officials to moderate the game properly.

It's over now.

And it's time to welcome not only Matt Schaub home but Mark Simeneau!:peace:

It was fun to watch Matt play last Sunday in the loss to the Colts. He was excellent. The Colts are just the best team in the Universe right now is all.

Good lawd,...Matt's gonna light the Falcons up. We'll start those threads tomorrow and it's time to let the loss to the Panthers go.
