Hines Ward watched film with his teammates at the Steelers' South Side practice facility Monday afternoon and does not appear to be seriously hurt.
Ward sustained what coach Mike Tomlin called a leg bruise during the Steelers' 37-16 win over the 49ers on Sunday. An MRI revealed no structural damage, though it is not known if Ward will play this Sunday when the Steelers visit the Arizona Cardinals, who are coached by former Steelers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt.

"I'd like to have Hines out there, and we miss him not being out there," Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said after the team improved to 3-0 by beating the 49ers, "but we've got enough guys that can go if we need to."

Ward extended his streak of catching at least one pass in a game to 136, but he only had one reception for 2 yards against the 49ers. He absorbed several hard hits and left the field late in the game.
