Dwayne Blakely is out. Crump's knee is gimpy.
But the news gets better! Gandy may not be able to go and we'll have the two rookies on the O-line against a veteran D-line.
Renardo Foster, a rookie from<gasp> Louisville is,...listen to this,...6'7" and 338 pounds! And he's 22 years old! The other rookie, Justin Blalock is 6' 4" and weighs in at 329 pounds.
The zebras had to make their ubiquitous, almost ceremonial holding call on Foster as they must have their hazing of new tackles in the league, last Sunday in Jacksonville when upon review looked like a clean block(that negated a first down and ended a drive I may add, late in the game).
But we are looking at some problems in short yardage situations with Blakely out, especially goal line situations.
We need the offense to break out Sunday afternoon and give us something to cheer about for a change. With the TE's hurting, look for the vets like Horn and Dunn have HUGE games! Yep, ya heard it here first.
This season has already been so profitable, at least there's one way to stay a winner,...being a fan of a losing team that is.
The Cincy loss to Cleveland was a winfall,...I best shhhhhush.:icedtea:
Suddenly thin at TE and suddenly deep at QB,...even if the backup has no idea what the plays are and he's most likely out of shape which is his normal playing condition.
I know John Fox,...he's gonna try to run it down the Falcons throat again. We may even see that same wing set they used last year in embarrassing us to red faces. And of course, we're still hurting on the D-line. Grady is hurting too, so we'll see how it goes this time.:peace:
